My 2.5 year old granddaughter noticed the color matching pretty quickly. When she fills the cups for the card, she likes to ring the bell. HA! The quality of mugs, bells and cards is very good. These cards don't tear. I like the variety of colors on the cards. As they learn to stack cards and cards in a row, they can progress to more complex spatial arrangement cards. I see it as a very useful learning tool over the years. I have to say I thought it was a little pricey for what you get but the learning opportunities are worth it.
