Don't buy this type of grease trap if you can find something else! They break easily

All the grease traps sold in the US are not only made in China but also in a specific factory. First, it's bad design in many ways. Whoever designed it never thought we should clean it. Not only do we have to clean it every time we use it, but we also have to clean it well because it contains fat. The elevator is not detachable, but is located close to the wall. After repeated use, the lifter will leak, which is what the majority of customers complain about in product reviews. It is expected to fall apart at some point. Instead of pushing the lift down, we can raise the L-Lift by turning the L-Lift upside down. But that still won't solve the problem. Your pen is poorly constructed. In the handle, the holes are closed at the top and bottom, so we can't remove or clean anything that got into the handle. It's not exactly a fat separator, you still have a small layer of fat after filtering it out with this fat separator. Again, the reason is bad design. As the soup begins to sink, it will sink unevenly off the bottom. The fat layer also wants to come out of the bottom hole faster than the bottom layer. If you have pure beef tallow, I suggest you put it in the fridge and remove it with a knife the next day, as beef tallow is harder. Chicken fat and pork fat are softer. Why don't we see a real or better grease trap in the United States? Because there are no laws in the US where everyone wants China to make grease traps for them and sell them in the US. In business, we shouldn't have the same products from different brands. You see them being compromised. The Chinese will not open another factory for a different shape unless you pay the Chinese to swap out the equipment. All those people who sell grease separators can't make any money unless they give something away for free, like a garlic press, a lemon squeezer, a nail knife and so on. All these free things were an overproduction of old Chinese goods at least 15 years ago. You see them being compromised. Another bad design is that it's a measuring cup that we can't really read. It's so easy to have a much better design or a real grease trap, but all the sellers don't see the goal of making good products. We cannot blame the Chinese for copying when the United States is copying like the Chinese. I've only used it once and I use a lot of soap to clean it but I still smell the oil. Every time we use it, that old oil gets added into the fat separator, and that old oil ends up in the soup we just made, so the soup isn't healthy anymore.
