I use it in combination with a USB powered fan that blows cold air through these metal fins. I bought 2 of these metal heatsinks and they fit perfectly with a warm Mac Mini and have excellent air distribution. They didn't need any glue or fastening mechanism to get the job done instantly. The price is fair and they did a great job of redistributing the heat from my Mac Mini's innards. I highly recommend buying a pair of these to put on a Mac Mini or similar sized warm device if you use one.
