Moved into our current house a few years ago. About a year later, I replaced my existing filter, which required a custom plastic housing, with a Honeywell Popup2200 recommended by my local hardware store. Honeywell was very easy to install as no plastic housing was required. He just slipped in. However, it's only 5 inches thick compared to the Aprilaire 201, which is 6 inches tall and has a cardboard frame that doesn't seem to seal the sides of the filter housing very well. When the filter had to be changed again, I opted for the OEM Aprilaire 201. Contrary to some reviews I read, I found this filter to be very easy to install. It took a bit longer, around 5 minutes compared to 30 seconds for the popup, but it wasn't difficult. The filter fits perfectly and is a perfect fit thanks to the plastic housing. I think the quality is a bit better too. If you've never installed 201 before, it will take a little longer, but there are a few Youtube videos showing how easy it really is. -offs 201, 2 packs I bought were sold and shipped by Revain and I have no reason to believe it is not OEM. The quality seems to be very good.
