Excellent cable durability. Older generations of USB phone charging cables suffered from the length of the cable. I didn't notice that with this cable. I can plug this thing across the room and it will reach where I sit or sleep while maintaining a strong charge. I don't have pets, but the feel and texture of the cord suggests that I must go to great lengths to physically damage the cord itself. I am happy with my purchase.
