Review on Good Grips Stainless Steel Flexible Turner by OXO, Medium (34491) by Justin Vasquez

Good idea but not really easy or good

I was looking for a thin metal spatula to replace my old excellent spatula that is thin, turns delicate food but at the same time is hard and can scratch pan if needed . When I found this flexible spatula I thought it was perfect. Turns out the flexibility isn't great, as the only way to get it under eggs or pancakes to flip them is to apply pressure and flatten the blade. By clicking on it you should try to move it under the food. If you let go a little, it curves again, and now the food you wanted to turn isn't in the position you wanted it to turn, break, and stick to the spatula. Which brings me to cleaning. Once food sticks to this thin metal, it is NOT easy to clean. Some people might find this easier to use than me and love it. But if you're looking for a thin, flat, stiff spatula that's great for cleaning metal utensils, think twice before you spend your money on this one.

Pros
  • Many will do
Cons
