Matches the mattress and the topsheet feels nice. As they say, it's waterproof. And then we washed it. The top coat is still great and we used it no matter what. We followed the directions the first time and the pad came out terribly stuck to itself. Not sure if this is common or not as I know other products have done this before too. I was afraid it would break. So now let's dry it and wash it on a gentle cycle. and something terrible sticks to itself. After 1 year of use it also seems to have deformed a bit in size/shape as we have to stretch it more than before. The child seems to like this sheet the most and has kept their mattress clean/dry.
