Review on GMB 170 1410 Replacement Water Gasket by Brad Phifer

Yesterday I installed this 170-1410 water pump on a 20R engine in my 78 Toyota Celica. I have never bought a GMB product. The new water pump looked very high quality. The metal casting and the machine working on the water pump looked immaculate. Note. The four 6mm studs that come with the new water pump have an unthreaded collar that is too long to securely tighten the fan pulley and fan clutch assembly on the new water pump. I didn't want to add a washer for the 6mm nuts to accommodate the extra length of the longer arm, so I removed four 6mm studs from my old water pump and used them on the new water pump. I checked my car this morning and I don't see any coolant leaks and the water temp gauge on the dash is reading fine.
