These shoes look like slippers! ). They are surprisingly light and very flexible. They feel and breathe like tennis shoes but with a much looser fit. I have an Achilles tendon problem that makes the back of the heel very tender (Haglund's deformity) and these shoes feel great! I usually wear a size 13E (wide) and this time I bought this. They fit perfectly. Every day. These shoes have made an immeasurable contribution to improving my health condition and I am able to walk normal distances again for the next few days without limping. I even wear them to the office with a pair of khakis. elegant, like my Italian shoes, but the limp wasn't a cool look either! The sole wears out fairly quickly, but this is a very soft material that offers comfort, which is to be expected. I happily pay 50-60$ every 6 months for the mobility these shoes have given me.
