My husband bought this for me in the bathroom to store my skincare/cosmetics. Works all the time and never turns off. If you like white noise, this shouldn't bother you. It holds a few small bottles of skincare, eye cream, my rose quartz massager/roller and some face masks, but it doesn't fit anymore. You need to keep it away from the wall as there needs to be airflow - sometimes the air coming out of it is very warm. I've had it for about a month and it suddenly doesn't feel as cold as it originally did - I don't know if it's my imagination or not - I haven't checked any settings (although I don't think there are all options) or manually to see if I need to tweak anything. I asked for one of these for Mother's Day and it's exactly what I wanted. I wish it didn't always work.
