Review on Rabbit R1 17910 Electric Corkscrew Size by Carl Lipschultz

Not as easy as you think

I have one of those really tricky bottle openers with four different valves that require a tumbling stunt to work, so I was really excited to try the electric one Try out corkscrew rabbits and open bottles at the push of a button. Unfortunately, it wasn't as easy to use as I thought. The foil cutter required a bit of fiddling to wrap the bottle and I had to constantly make sure I had a firm grip on both the bottle and the cutter. I ended up using the cutter three times as often as my old one. The next part was the electrical part. Inside the device is a regular old corkscrew, so it's not that easy to press a button and pour a bottle in a matter of seconds. If the tip of the corkscrew isn't aligned like this, it will go in at an angle. Then it will rest against the glass side of the bottle neck and get stuck; You have to pull it out again and start over. If you don't actively squeeze the corkscrew while it's moving, it won't go anywhere and the top of the cork will just crumble a little; You have to pull it out again and start over. Long story short, I tried it on four different bottles and got the same result: it takes a few tries to get the cork out. Two of the bottles had the cork halfway out and I ended up pulling the rest out with my own hands instead of trying Rabbit again. The upside is that the box is beautiful and elegant, makes a great gift and comes with 4 AA batteries so you don't have to run to charge. It is very important to include batteries. The up and down buttons are also easy to find and easy to press.
