I was looking for a case that could be stored in a variety of ways, as I mostly take notes at school on my iPad. Writing completely flat became a pain in my wrist and I was uncomfortable with a slick surface, so I found it propped up at a slight angle while writing. It's perfect and just what I was looking for. Looks good, protects and helps me use my iPad in many different ways. I will say that the only problem I have is that sometimes I want to put a case or case on my Apple Pencil, which I cannot do as this case protects and holds the pencil. So if I'm ever going to be writing for any length of time I'll have to carry this case or piece alone and make sure it's removed after use to put the pencil back in the case. It's nice that the case holder still allows you to fully charge your pen!
