I can't recognize the taste of water because we don't drink it. But I can say that this set of spares is a perfect match for our R/O system. Each cartridge was labeled and all I had to do was follow my RO system manual to determine which cartridge would be first, second, third, etc. Most importantly, the reverse exchange membrane works exactly as it should. Our built-in conductivity meter reads 307 ppm. on the inlet side of the tap water and 16 ppm on the R/O outlet water side. This set is good value for money and works exactly as it's supposed to.
