I bought these sheets for a reason, they were supposed to fit mattresses up to 24 inches deep. My mattress is 18 inches, which is the stretch for most sheets, no pun intended. Other than that, they're the most common faux microfiber sheets I can buy in bulk for fourteen bucks, except they don't fit very deep mattresses. They do a lot of things to make them sound like natural materials, like claiming a high thread count, which is a meaningless term unless used for natural woven materials like cotton and linen. And the word "Egyptian" is added to make them sound like they were woven from cotton in Egypt. I don't know what they mean by that, but no, they are made in China and to be clear, microfiber is a synthetic fiber made of polyester and polyamide. Polyester is essentially a type of plastic, while polyamide is a fancy name for nylon. So basically these plates are made of plastic. SOFTNESS Despite the fact that I had around 13,000 reviews, it was very difficult to find one that would tell me anything useful. There's no doubt that they're soft, which seems to be the most common term used to describe them, but I've found that too much softness isn't good. A truly superior set of sheets allows the sleeper to feel the surface of the sheet, which has a certain density, such as B. high-quality cotton or linen sheets, to turn over naturally and gently. If the sheet is too soft, it will wrap around the sleeper as they move and you will wake up with the mattress pulled out from under the sides and corners. I think there's a reason microfiber sheets are rarely found in upscale hotels. FIT Aside from comfort, which I would rate as average, one of the most important considerations is fit. This is where you should go back and read their advertising hype very carefully. They don't exactly say they're 24 inches deep, instead they say extra stretchy, I assume they mean microfiber stretches, but as mentioned above, stretching and twisting a sheet while you sleep isn't necessarily a good thing. They were very firm for my mattress, only partially acceptable, definitely not worth 5 stars. Just like consumer magazines, I pulled out my tape measure to find out what actually measured the edge seam from the top edge to the ribbing. It's 19 inches, not a millimeter more. No matter how you do the math, you can't make 24 inches out of 19, the rest must be they rely on stretch, which means we can tear the fabric, as some reviewers report. This is not for 24" mattress and barely enough for my 18" bed. MEANING Finally, there is one more color. I have two comments on this. First, they come in a variety of colors so what I have may not apply to you. Secondly I know online promotional pictures will not look like the real thing, the blue color I ordered looks good in the picture but to me they look more like hospital pajamas. This is not the designer look I was hoping for. Bottom line, this is an average product and average cost. They are comparable to the entry-level products of most brands. I don't see any value in getting four pillowcases for a large bed so it seems like a waste of money and by the way they misrepresent in their promotional photo that two are blue and two are grey. In fact, they are all the same color. The fact that they do not crumple also turned out to be an exaggeration, in fact they crumple. That, plus that slight manual misrepresentation of the use of the word "Egyptian" when it's clearly not true, barely earns this product three stars.
