Angry Cat Mom Finds Peace โ˜ฎ๏ธ

We've moved and poor kitty got a little injured but since it's more spacious he really liked it there. He reverted to his old cocky, playful, cute but dominant self. Too dominant. He's never hopped on kitchen tables, which is a big no-go for me since I cook a lot or cook fresh raw foods. I don't mind if he wakes me up in the middle of the night, but that's not allowed. I've tried aluminum foil tents and prickly stuff in the past and it hasn't worked for kitchen countertops. Also, it was excruciating to remove the aluminum foil when I wanted to cook and put it back on when I wanted to go out or go to bed. I also recently bought an outdoor plant for a new location. One day when I left, I came back and found dirt and spatters all over the wall. It was the last straw. I found this rug. I didn't want to spend that much money on a mat but now I think it's a good deal. I tested the mat myself to see how it felt. I even stepped on the mat at the top to see how bad it was. It surprised me and I danced around a bit as I got off him, but it didn't hurt. I showed the kitten the mat and sat her lower on it so she would understand that she didn't want to sit on it. It didn't really bother him. I placed the rug on the kitchen counter to the left and found that the cat had figured out how to walk on the rug on the countertop. (I saw his kitty prints on the counter.) I flipped the rug up on the counter, picked up the cat, and laid it on the rug a few times. His cock is big and swollen. It worked, Kitty didn't go there for about a week without having a rug on the counter. The biggest concern was the outdoor facility. I left the checkmate in front of the factory and it worked because now he knew what the checkmate was doing. However, one day I returned and again found the scattered dirt. And this cat, a former psychopath, showed remorse, hid and hid. I grabbed the cat and showed him the plant and put it on the mat that was on top and squeaked. It showed him that even with me gone, he couldn't get away with it. If you think cats can't learn, you're wrong - they're just stubborn. I even taught the cat to sit for treats. It takes patience but they will understand what you want from them if you are clear enough and if they want a treat they will. It's been about a week and I haven't had any more cases of veggie slime. The carpet is still in front of the system. Thought I might need to buy a second rug but so far no sign of kitty on the kitchen counters despite the rug being in front of the plant. he dominates everywhere and still hides, but I show him his toys, play with the laser, and give him treats where allowed. And I'm allowed to have things in the house that make me happy: outdoor plants and clean kitchen countertops! Update: Kitty is happy and back to his cute self, he's still not on the shelves or digging up the plants. Happy cat mom!
