Revane tells me I bought this epilator in early 2016 and now it's the end of 2020! I didn't know how long I had it until I came to consider buying a new one. Mine is starting to die it won't hold a charge so I'll be buying a replacement. but living almost 5 years is pretty good. It might even last longer if I hadn't dropped it a few times in the last year or so lol. And maybe it would be wiser not to leave it in the shower like I did. In any case, this epilator works great on thick hair. I use it on my armpits. It felt like being stabbed with a knife the first few times, but you start to get used to it. Now I epilate my armpits once every few days (but I only have to once a week) and it doesn't hurt at all. My armpits are smoother than ever when I shave them and there is never any stubble left because the hair grows back in a cone instead of a blunt edge. I don't use this on my feet because it just takes too long and doesn't give good results. I have fine hair on my legs. Shaving is very quick, but epilation takes a long time, and most of the time the hair just breaks instead of pulling out completely. My legs have never been smooth and soft after waxing and it took so long. And what's worse, because he didn't pull out all his hair, the hair didn't even grow slower. It was like the worst shave ever. So I don't use this on my legs, I just shave about 20 seconds on each leg and I'm fine. To be honest, sometimes the epilation lasted about an hour. But since it's so damn good for my armpits I'll definitely be repurchasing and using it, I'll never shave my armpits again! I also use it for hands and knuckles. Sometimes I have dark hair and light skin, so I like to remove hair with my hands. It also breaks some of those hairs, but does a pretty good job. I also use it on my stomach because I have some random hair there. I love it!
