Every day I help my child brush his teeth twice a day for 2 minutes. It has fun toothbrushes, fun flavored toothpastes, a battery operated toothbrush and a two minute timer. But for some reason his breath still wasn't fresh. He's on the autism spectrum, so anything unfamiliar/new to him can be a big problem. For several days he watched me while I was rinsing my mouth with mouthwash. I told him at the time that he would take something of his own and explain the scent. We started slowly. When the package arrived I asked him to open it and then said we were talking about his mouthwash. What he found most interesting was squeezing the bottle and seeing the holder's surface fill up. We started by smelling it, then moved on to touching it (yes, we dipped our fingers in a cap of rinse aid), then diluted it with some water and finally tried it. The whole process took about a week, but now he's really enjoying the mouthwash and his breath smells clean!
