Dangerously unreliable. The locks open when the child shakes the closet door.
Wanted to like them but bottom line they don't work consistently. Our 20 month old can just shake and pull the door and after 3-4 pulls the latch will open. Considering their function, they are simply dangerous. They last just long enough to give you a false sense of security. And then your baby climbs into the closet with detergent and shakes the door.
