I bought these filters with crossed fingers hoping they would work with my Dyson vacuum. (They did.) And I hoped they would give him life back because he just wasn't growing as strong as I would have liked. The results were amazing. The filters fit perfectly. While the bottom one isn't the easiest to install, it was worth the (minor) extra effort. Until I compared the old filters to these new ones, I had no idea how clogged and dirty my old ones were. (I ended up washing them thoroughly for a year, every year for the past 5+ years.) After seeing the immediate difference in performance, I felt encouraged enough to take apart the bristle section of my Dyson and clean it too. . (Wow! I had no idea it was that dirty.) Now that all the parts are clean and assembled, my Dyson is almost like new. (It's a bit louder and picks up about 95% of what it did when new. But that percentage could have been better if I'd bought new filters sooner.) What struck me the most was how much easier it was vacuuming is . . The Dyson actually feels lighter as I push it across the thick carpet of our apartment. Five stars for the price and four because. Well, I rarely give a product five stars outright. This one came pretty close.
