So I cannot speak specifically about the assembly but suffice to say my wife managed to assemble it all on her own. She isn't the handiest but while I was at work, she managed to build this scooter. My daughter loved it. She gets very excited when the wheels light up, in a way encouraging her to ride faster and longer. The break works as intended and the kickstand is very cool. It folds out of the way while riding but allows the scooter to stand upright, thus taking up less space in my garage.
