They will dramatically improve warmth and comfort in any room by fitting them to windows. I have them on all the first floor windows of my house now, so much warmer! I'm so glad I invested in them. Seen from the outside of the house, they look like simple ordinary curtains. Inside the house, I cover them with lace curtains to make each room look the way I want it. I like how the light comes through but there is no heat!
