I am buying this product and will no longer buy Royal Canin dry cat food

I will buy this product and will no longer buy Royal Canin dry cat food. I found that my cat's health deteriorated with constant use. One continued to lose weight, the other slowly lost all her belly hair. After I stopped feeding my cats Royal Canin, one cat started to gain weight and is still doing so and all the hair that was missing on the others' belly has completely grown back. Cats will call. I don't like to write negative reviews, it's not my style for any product. In this case, however, I have to. I have a responsibility to other cat lovers. I hope they do the same to protect my pet food choices. I have been using Royal Canin for several years without any problems. Then something changed and they got health problems and it had to be Royal Canin. My cats always get high-quality dry and wet food. They often eat better than I do, or sometimes I think so. As with the products I consume, sometimes the formulas, recipes, or ingredients are changed slightly enough to affect the quality of the product. It's always about the bottom line and the profit, while the consumer and their pets pay the price. Something must have changed in the quality of the RC brand and I cannot give this product more than one star. I wouldn't put any stars if I could. I have spare bags of this brand and instead of feeding them to my cats to save money I will either donate them to the local animal shelter or throw them away. I tend to ditch it as I don't want the brand to negatively impact the animals at the shelter. Despite the fact that shelters always need food. Maybe I'll consult with those who respond to get their thoughts on this. And whatever you do, skip Fancy Feast for your cats. This brand was everything one of my other cats (deceased) ate and she died of cancer so I know this brand uses some pretty horrible ingredients. Back then I wasn't as smart about quality products as I am now. I remember the weird smell of this cat food every time I open a new can. But she never refused. She had a favorite flavor that escapes me now. I think it was chicken in gravy.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • boring packaging
