THE PROBLEM

An average Nigerian child Has been hardwired to believe That house chores can only and should only be completed manually. I am no exception because I was also trained that way. I have always been trained to the house chores by manually myself.

Looking for short quotes to do house chores is frowned upon by parents asked to see it as being lazy. Some of these chores include: washing dishes, sweeping the whole house and compound, carrying refuse on the head through the street to deposit at the public dumpster installed by the government, doing laundry, among many more.

Any African reading this review will know how true this is. As children, we weren’t allowed to even talk about our peers whose parents have automated house keeping equipment such as dish washers, vacuum cleaners, lawn mowers, and washing machines. These children are seen as being not well trained and spoilt.

Little did we know that our parents secretly wished to have these automated house keeping equipment but their financial situation could not allow them.

I as a child grew up with the mentality that house keeping should be done manually and automation is for lazy people.

THE SOLUTION

Being a grown up made me realize how difficult it is for adults most especially with depreciation in health as I found it difficult to do my laundry efficiently due to a health condition known as vertigo. This condition doesn’t allow me bend over to wash my clothes as my head will turn and I nearly collapse each time the episode happens which is mostly when I get up from bed and when I’m doing laundry.

I looked for different ways to solve this issue but there was none except the forbidden automated house keeping equipment “Washing Machine”. The problem with this solution is that, just like my parents, my finances could not allow me afford a new washing machine, so I decided to purchase a used machine from a colleague. This is how I got my QASA Qlink QWM-81DTBX Washing Machine. The machine has served me for nearly a year and I can boldly say that I have really suffered from the indignity of poverty and it’s mentality.

The 4Kg washing machine is highly effective and does my laundry in record time without any episodes of vertigo. I can easily wash a number of clothes at once as opposed to washing individually by hand. It has a timer that allows me set the number of minutes to wash the clothes for. Depending on then texture of the clothes, I can a set the washing style to moderate, gentle, or hard wash.

It has a 3Kg spinner that enables me to squeeze my clothes to close to dryness and most times, I don’t need the sun to dry my clothes.

The washing machine has made life easier for me and I implore you to get one too.
