Since receiving this I have never wondered if my dog's e-collar was in contact. I don't even think about it anymore. Consistency is key to training, and stock touchpoints have too many variables that can interfere with good contact. They cost more than standard contacts and this would add to the overall price of the product, but I'm sure these winged contact points would come with electronic collars if it weren't for that fact. This is the only way. I have a short haired pit bull mix and they fit him perfectly. As an added bonus, you don't have to over-tighten the collar to make good contact. Do your dog a favor and replace the standard collar with an elastic one. Etsy has some great ones. A dog's neck is not a tube that never changes in diameter. Get wings and don't look back.
