I'm used to wearing shoes that fit like a glove so my normal outdoor shoe size fits me in these shoes as expected as a casual shoe with enough cushioning to keep me comfortable all day feel . I've worn them recently while flying cross country and spending the day walking around airports and public transport so I can confirm that claim. The reversible insoles are great, one side feels like a regular insole and the other side is like soft foam pods that make me feel like I'm walking on air. The whole shoe feels like my feet aren't wrapped in a nice cushion anywhere, making them very forgiving if you're worried about tightness. I covered them with Scotchgard Leather Protector for Suede and Nubuck to protect them from sudden summer rains. At first I was worried the spray would darken the suede, but after a few light coats it looked brand new. I would say the insole is *a little* too flat. So if you have a fat foot you might feel like your foot slips but for me it just feels like walking on air and the laces offer a good adjustment. That's the only "warning" I have for this shoe, if you can even call it that. I love these shoes so much and they will always be my favorite shoe when I go out!
