Combined they do a great job of getting copper tones out of my hair. I hate even the slightest shade of orange/yellow in my hair to the point where I would prefer my hair to look ashy. They are way better than Aveda's Blue Mauva. Don't leave the conditioner on for too long or your hair will turn a pale purple, but even purple is better than copper for me! The only downside is that the containers leak a bit. I turn mine upside down so they don't leak. Update: The bottle doesn't leak around the cap. I actually found a small tear in one of the top corners where the shampoo leaks. I think the bottle was damaged in shipping.
