I like how transparent the front of the bag is (both the plastic used and the lack of adhesive on the front) like some of my old ones (via 40 years old) The laminated cards I carry around are a bit difficult to read due to the laminated material and the adhesive on the front. We strongly recommend trimming off as much of the excess as possible around the edges of the card before laminating. This way you have as many laminate overlaps as possible while still being able to trim the edges of the laminate to allow the card to fit in the slot. Since the front of the laminated pouch is non-adhesive, I have found that you need at least a 3mm overlap (after trimming) of the pouch over the edge of the card to keep the pouch securely closed. For the overall quality of the pack I feel the card cut is a small compromise and would happily buy these laminating sleeves again.
