Pros: Durable when the lid is closed. Easy to assemble. A lightweight. Cons: Poor packaging. It's attractive without drawing attention, is fairly solid when assembled, and lacks storage space. However, I will advise that before ordering, be sure to look at the sizes. This is an odd size ottoman. It's too big to work well with a chair but too small to work well in front of a sofa. I ended up using it in the back corner of my living room for storage and extra jump seats. Despite this it is not suitable for adults as it is very low but perfect for a child. One of my biggest complaints about this ottoman is the way it is packaged before it leaves the factory. My item arrived damaged in transit but due to the total lack of product protection in the packaging it would have been difficult to deliver undamaged. I wish there was at least one corner protector in the box to keep the top of the ottoman secure. I ordered this item primarily to store extra blankets. While it works for this purpose, it seems like you need exceptional packing skills to make the most of the space. If you only throw blankets in the compartment, only two will fit. If I carefully fold and roll the blankets, 5-6 blankets fit in depending on the size of the blanket. Be sure to measure your space before ordering.
