Review on Doormat Backing Absorbent Entrance Washable Home Decor for Doormats by Claudia Garza

I bought this mat to put in my backyard door. It's attractive and easy to clean - just throw it in the washing machine. But I don't find it too absorbent. When it's humid outside, this rug doesn't absorb the water from my shoes so much that I can't track the floor tile it's laying on. It also does not resist cat scratches. They manage to pull out its tufts when they scratch. They can be clipped to make the rug look more representative, but this is a constant problem. If you're using it where absorbency isn't a big issue and you don't have cats or dogs playing with it, I think it's fine. Otherwise I would look for something else.
