Review on Philips MG5730/15 Multi-Grooming πŸ’‡ Set: 11-in-1 Versatility in Sleek Black by Agata Pkala (Kira) ᠌

Overall it's not bad, but I expected more.

In general, after reading a number of other reviews that were positive, I made the decision to post my own. I will be upfront and state that the trimmer did not come up to the standards I had set for it. Nevertheless, in this case, the claim is not even directed at the goods or the maker; I simply anticipated more. I'll begin right away with the remarks, specifically those that contain the terms "smooth" and "clean." These two phrases are completely unrelated to the trimmer that we are discussing. This is a trimmer, so if you suddenly assume that it will take the place of a standard razor, I'm sorry to disappoint you. In the absence of a nozzle, it produces a bristle that is easily palpable and, at the same time, has a significant risk of cutting itself. There is only one comb available for use on the body, and according to what is written on it, it leaves a hair length of 3 millimeters. Since I do not know how the people who write here are able to shave it clean, I would like to know how they do it. Consequently, if you desire skin that is smooth and silky, you won't find that here, despite the fact that I believe a thickness of 3 mm everywhere on the body to be typical. It's possible that some people get confused and talk about the mesh nozzle, but it's not for shaving and it's not for the body; rather, it's for correction. And in general, due to the fact that it's rather narrow but thick, it's not very useful, in my opinion. I don't have a beard or head hair, so I don't know if the trimmer is any good for those things, but I don't need it. I can't say that the nose and ear trimmer is just perfect because I can't say that either. Neither can you. In general, I have the sensation that despite all of its diversity, it is not capable of completing everything in some way. But as I've already mentioned, I don't keep a beard; however, I do get my hair cut at salons, so perhaps this is where I'm going wrong. In advance, companies owned by Phillips, if they want to leave their feedback in this section: I have already contacted you, and you have already provided all of the necessary guidance; my opinion has not changed, and there are no complaints about you; the only possible criticism pertains to the informativeness of the product description. This is due to the fact that, based on the feedback provided on this page, many people are confused about the purpose of the various nozzles, and it may be necessary to provide a clear indication of the length of hair that is left on the face as well as the body, not only on your website, And after all, Philips, you have different razors for both the body and the face; why do you feel the need to own such razors if this and other multi-grooming devices, or whatever they may be, are so universal? In general, I would be more than happy to receive a return.

Pros
  • In a sense, it serves dual purposes? Probably blades that can sharpen themselves.
Cons
  • Functionality that is not limited to the home, Charger for exclusive use. A battery that must be entirely depleted before being charged and must be charged for a total of 16 hours. No charge level indicator. Does not replace a conventional razor. You can cut yourself.
