Although these bags appear to be well made, I was disappointed in the size. Based on other reviews, I decided to upsize and buy XL bags for old DDDs. I tried to put my underwired bra in my pocket and put it on the floor. Unfortunately, without manipulating the wire, it wouldn't work. When I "helped" him get into the bag, the wire was sticking out through the mesh. It's definitely not convenient to send it through the wash like that. Then I tried to put it in my pocket "standing". It fits but is very tight and I have concerns about how it will hold up in the washing machine. If it was a shaped cup, it wouldn't work for DDD in any way. On the other hand, my underwired bra fits perfectly in my panty bag. The good news is that I am determined to keep them because most of my everyday bras are wireless and I can easily put them on so no waste.
