I ordered a European SIM card at a similar price in anticipation of an upcoming trip to Europe. Last minute decision. Low price. I would rather not mess with the SIM card in my iPhones for various reasons. One is still attached to the carrier. Unfortunately, you get what you pay for here. maybe that . maybe even less. This product looks and feels like "state of the art" cell phone technology from the 1990's. Surprisingly thin and small, it lacks even the most basic interactive screens. All inputs are basically "pick and pray" with small keys. For example, to type the letter "S" you must keep pressing the #7 key. Watch the small screen as you type through the letters "P, Q, R" one by one before finding the "S" you're looking for. Then press Enter and move on to the next letter or number you want to type. I can't imagine having to grapple with such archaic functions while waiting in line at a busy airport, getting lost somewhere on the street, or wandering down a crowded sidewalk in a big city. Insert the battery (which is packaged outside of the phone). No user manual included. Since the battery diagram doesn't explain having to remove the entire back of the phone with a sharp bladed tool to gain access, it took me some time to figure this out and put the battery in. SIM cards are also inserted or exchanged using this archaic method. There was no printed documentation on how to activate and manage the phone. I found some information on the internet but hardly enough. Needless to say I sent mine back. My advice if you need a cheap phone for an international trip or other shorter period of time would be to buy a used or refurbished Apple, Samsung or other top of the line phone. Even a 10 year old Apple iPhone will far outperform this product in terms of usability, functionality and overall design. Sometimes you can find old phones selling for a fraction of what they sold for new ones. Spend a little more. Save yourself a lot of headaches.
