Im in South Florida & it’s bright and hot all year-round so these have been ideal for outdoor activities. The casing material itself is plastic (as expected).I broke the one with the yellowish/orangey film (completely my fault) which were my daily use. Now, I use the blueish one (pictured) as my daily and has been going well after I learned an issue with the yellow one.The yellow one, the issue was that I left it in my car on the dashboard for two days straight. Upon inspecting them, I noticed that the coating of the plastic was like melting off. So, please be aware of this and do not keep it stationary under the heat for too long.Other than that, I’d recommend to buy it. Or you can pay a little more for a sturdier material, but you might not get 3.
