Review on WFLNHB Carburetor Rebuild Evinrude Outboard Motorcycle & Powersports by Roy Bush

The main seal crumbled and the fragments fell into the jets and needle valve seat. It worked the very first time I took it out and then it started starving the engine for fuel. So I had to disassemble a freshly repaired carburetor that still looks sparkling clean save for the big black gasket pieces stuck inside. I have repaired these carburetors a half dozen times over the years but this is the first time I have bought a cheap repair kit from Amazon rather than a kit from a boat specialist website and this is the first time I have used it had problems with defective parts. . Gaskets are clearly corroded by gasoline, which makes me wonder if this is normal rubber coating and not fuel grade gasket material.
