My 2012 Chevy Silverado 1500 was hot when towed very hot. So I got stuck on the radiator heat exchanger. I turned off the fans so they would be on when towing. I just leave them on my transmission which is well under 180 miles before I towed the transmission it was over 220 and my truck was overheating and now my transmission has blown with my new transmission. and the fans are as cool as can be. So if you're towing your 2012 Chevy Pos Trans and don't want it to burn out, take it and bypass the radiator. and just use a disk cooler and kick the fans while towing like I did.
