Review on Mini oven REDMOND SkyOven 5706S, silver by Barbara Picco ᠌

The quality does not meet expectations, I will not buy any more.

I really hope the manufacturer went with a different kind of microcontroller, but I have no idea. In the Redmond SkyKettle RK-G212S smart kettle, the sound signal does not appear to be present any longer. My greatest wish is that we are not dealing with the same controller.

Pros
  • The ro-5706S is manufactured flawlessly in terms of its circuitry, and I especially appreciated how the buttons were routed through the indicator driver. This was a great design choice. Utilizing the nRF51822 microcontroller as a means of controlling devices and engaging in communication via Bluetooth Low Energy is an effective approach.
Cons
  • However, it came to light that the nRF51822 was flawed, and after a certain amount of time had passed, the contacts had begun to separate themselves from the microcircuit crystal. What becomes apparent is a lack of communication with the mobile application, spontaneous shutdowns while the device is in use, and insufficient operation of the timer and the device as a whole. According to the testimonials, the item does not maintain its functionality for an extended period of time. You are able to order any replacement component for this range, with the exception of the control board.
