I love the protection factor in these boots and they don't look bad. I wouldn't want to wear them all day. I wear a size 9 1/2 so I usually have to buy a 10 to fit me if size is not available. These are still a bit tight. 1/2 size up will be a loose heel and probably still a little tight. It's not very narrow and will hopefully stretch a bit, but the sole is also narrow so I'm not sure if it will stretch much. I'm used to work boots with heels. As a result, my feet slipped off the footpegs a few times on my first ride. Since then there have been about 12 trips and this has not happened again. It was 18 degrees outside at night, so maybe the tires are more like summer tires and they've gotten harder with the temperature and the wind. In addition, the legs get a little cold at this temperature, but I bought them for the summer anyway. There would probably be a 5 star rating if they were wider in both size and shape.
