I've been thinking about getting some kind of twirl tamper for a while and figured the next 2 years would probably be the cheapest time - especially since my son is busy fixing everything. He loves banging on things and listening to the different sounds different objects make when hit with a hammer. He loves his toys. I like solid wood toys when I can find them. I don't like buying toys with a lot of detail, but this racket was made to prevent the pins from being knocked out. Instead, the pins on the left were connected to the pins on the right. So if you hit a pin and it goes down, the other side goes up. Genius! The handle of the hammer is quite long and comes with 2 hammers and 2 xylophone hammers, so there will be no sibling fights. I like the 3 in 1 toy. The numbers 0 to 9 move easily and are beautifully colored so small hands can easily move them.
