These shorts impressed me from the first time I put them on! I needed a good pair for a weekend trip to NYC knowing it would be a lot of walking/taking subway & temps in high 90’s. The material is light, waist is thicker and hits just right and they stayed in place when active (no riding up, bunching or having to pick or pull at anything)… the strong waist style is both flattering and secure. There is a built in underwear layer (I didn’t realize going into buying)- I still wear undergarments while wearing them and it’s just fine & comfy.
