This is my first experience with floral tape but I wasn't expecting it. The tape doesn't stick to the crepe paper when I add it to the floral wire to finish the flower. The tape seems to get sticky, but it doesn't stick to anything, it just leaves sticky fingers. If I wrap the tape around itself and slide the wire down and accidentally pull it, it will unravel. I then end up with a stretched piece of floral ribbon that is sticky but doesn't stick to itself.
