I have a homeless home on the street cats. Or at least the mother who took out the garbage in my garage was homeless. To keep things simple I will only talk about two cats sleeping in a garage. At first they were very skeptical and tired of this novelty and it just lay dormant for a few days. Expecting that I didn't put her favorite box down first because I didn't want to throw her out of the warm place. We had colds (usually you could say winter, but we haven't had much this year) and we both shared the same box at night to keep warm. Or the sisters' pit feeling that they always claim the best seats. So that went on the cat bead in the other box. During the day it wasn't cold enough to share a box so my sister kicked my brother out and I felt bad because he wasn't using his box and was sleeping somewhere else. I almost gave up, but then I found my sister in her brother's drawer, used this rug and sorted its warming property, brother's drawer was hers. Let the brother move into the vacated lower box without the mat. That's how I know it really works. Now there is one in each box and the sisters have taken back their original box. I also enroll my brother in cat judo so he's not such a pushover. I have two guys, this guy and the shag guy. The heat reflector works in both but I'm not sure which type of fabric they like better but I'm sure they like both. When brother got his own mat he tried his best to show his appreciation by purring, using his paws and looking at me, it was cute. Whereas the sisters' previous responses were just to look at me like that. human slave, why is it taking so long to buy this for me?
