If you like zinc-free diaper balm, this one is GREAT! It moisturizes very well and smells very nice… No oily smell at all. I smell a lot of citrus and herbs with a hint of rose. It is very greasy but absorbs easily into my son's skin. Creates an excellent moisture barrier and may *prevent* breakouts. I would not use this if your child has a persistent rash that has already started. In my experience, high zinc is the way to go (I swear by Burt's Bees 40% zinc ointment). When I used oil based balms like this on existing breakouts, his blisters opened up and bled. This can cause the sores to get too wet and be a big problem... I use it on my 2 year old during the day when I know he won't be in a wet or dirty diaper for long. It smells so great and fresh! I've even used it on my own dry skin...elbows, cracked heels and toes etc. It's very soothing and helps relieve irritation all over. Even if it looks small, you don't need much. A little goes a long way, so it must take a while. I prefer to use a silicone diaper cream applicator and scoop up some cream with it. My hands and fingers stay clean so I use less product. Easy to apply and simply wipes off with a baby wipe or handkerchief. It doesn't get any cheaper! We recommend. I hope it helps! 😉
