I love these little clear holders for a variety of uses. We have a remote that controls all the lights in the living room and we mounted one on the wall near the light switches to hold this little remote. It's perfect because we never lose the remote control! I also use two of these in the bedroom, attached to a tall dresser by the bed. One is holding my phone, which I use as an alarm clock, and the other is holding the TV remote. In my experience, clear strips will NOT peel off the wall without serious damage (drywall peels off when clear strips are removed). Instead, buy a pack of regular, medium-sized white command strips and use them. I've never had a problem removing white foam strips, but clear ones are an absolute nightmare.
