Very easy to assemble. I strongly recommend a ratchet screwdriver with a bit for these screws. Much easier than using the tool provided. Otherwise it went on smoothly. The instructions were good enough, maybe not that good. Looks very nice and no unexpected deviations from the photos in the listing. I personally have these next to my back door in the garage so I will never use magazine racks and would rather buy a model without them and save a few bucks but they still look good. I can get 4 pairs of men's shoes. (size 10) on the shelves and a pair of boots in a large compartment. I don't think it goes with my wife's wellies but it does go with hiking boots. The storage on the bench is perfect for a small duster which I bought for the dirt that gets caught in it (it's in the mud room after all) and other small items like gloves, keys etc. The pad wobbles and I put it down always back in place. I can just drop it and sit on a wooden bench. It's not like I sit there long enough to get comfortable, plus it kind of hinders the opening of the bank lid. Just a minor annoyance, but not enough to deduct a star. Overall I am very happy with this purchase. We just moved in and this was one of the best things we bought in terms of build and I feel like I got what I saw in the ad.
