Loud but good for headphones

I have a greyhound that sheds like crazy despite his short coat. This vacuum cleaner is very good for getting rid of excess hair. The problem I usually have with brushing is that the hairs fly all over the place. This vacuum is an effective, mess-free hair removal method. However, it is quite noisy. My greyhound is a very obedient dog so she gets along well with her but I know that many dogs won't let her close.
