While searching for extra cotton pads for the face, it didn't occur to me that reusable cotton pads existed when I came across these amazing bamboo pads. I'm an avid knitter and love the softness of bamboo yarn, so I knew I had to "try" it. They arrived today (I ordered two sets), nicely packaged in a strong, durable box. I tried them with a toner I use regularly and found they held together well thanks to the Z stitch in the center and the softness. However, they have a little short velor on one side, which didn't impress me. The benefit of this, however, is the peeling factor. The bamboo container is very sharp, and if you put it on the bedside table, where this ritual usually takes place, it looks just as good as it does in the bathroom. The zipped holdall is made from durable cotton and measures 4" x 6". It is compact and perfect for short trips. I have extra plastic lined cosmetic bags that I want to take with me to dispose of used pads on my travels. As for the laundry bag, there is no clear opinion as I have not used it yet. I already have a small circular mesh zipped laundry bag that I will put half my used stuff in and the rest in a PandaBamm laundry bag to see which are the cleanest and how the PB bag is holding up. .Overall I am very happy with my purchase and very happy that I can do my part in other ways to save our planet for my children, grandchildren and future generations. It costs money for all the extras you get and being able to reuse them will definitely save me money in the long run.
