I bought these to have backups around the house. This purchase turned out to be a waste of money. Of course, these aren't Apple-branded cables, so I clearly wasn't expecting a year's shelf life. However, I only recently opened the box and none of the cables work. When they are connected, charging will go out and then light up again. I've tried them in a car USB port, an Apple charging box, a computer USB port and nothing. Now I'm getting a horrible message "This accessory is not supported" on my phone. Go ahead to the trash can.
