Review on 🎒 Stylish and Durable: North Face Surge Heather Black Backpacks for the Urban Explorer by Amanda Johnson

I ordered this bag because the "surge" I've had for a few years is a bit frayed at the edges. Since it will be used for my mobile office and will be scrutinized by the public, as well as serving as an everyday backpack, I figured the new one would look a little better. I was disappointed to find that NF had changed the pocket attached to the laptop bag to add a mesh to it. This reduces its capacity and eliminates its use for carrying a legal-sized briefcase, which fits comfortably in my current bag. NF also downgraded the two external zippers on the front of the bag. While they are larger and open faster, they are no longer weatherproof like the ones in my current bag. Anything in these pockets (e.g. a mobile phone) will get wet in the rain. Overall very disappointing.
