I am 44 years old with fairly dry combination skin. Unlike others in my category, my skin responds well to frequent exfoliation. If not, exfoliate for a week. My skin becomes textured with whiteheads, blackheads and dry patches. I mostly use the St. Ives, but I want to stay away from anything that has walnut shells in it. I tried Good Molecules Pineapple Exfoliating Powder and loved it, but I needed something stronger! Found this item and am delighted. I think it's volcanic ash that does it for me. My face and lips are so smooth this scrub doesn't dry out or irritate my skin. A little goes a long way, this product spreads pretty well. After use, my face looks fresh, plump and rosy. My skin soaks up my serum and moisturizer afterwards. Definitely recommend
