My second warthog sharpener

I have a 1st generation warthog and bought this latest upgrade. While the old Warthog was great, this new model is awesome! It's a lot easier to change angles, there are upgraded "rocks" for better sharpening, and it's just as easy to use as Warthogs have always been. There are two great sharpeners on the market (the other is good, different stones, different angles, requires flipping the blade, etc.) but the Warthog couldn't be better. I have many knives: 12 inches. Scimitar, assorted kitchen knives, outdoor puukko, swiss army knife, stockman case with three blades, full size Texas toothpick, loin knife, small line knife in my tool bag and blades for butchering/skinning big game in the field. Keep 'em sharp like scalpels with my warthog. I just love impressing people when I can use a single slice of a Stockman pocket knife to cut rope like butter or open a freshly caught moose in the field with one punch. from neck to crotch with Puukko Then I explain that knives are "warthog sharp".

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • too boring
